King Post System
King Post System
Shore Hire’s King Post System is a highly useful system in a variety of excavation and retention applications. Designed to be a temporary retaining wall, the system is achieved by driving our steel shoring panels or steel plates into the ground and connecting them via steel I-beam posts.
Simple and versatile, the panels are made from high-strength steel, meaning that they are incredibly strong, long-lasting, and durable.
The installation process of the King Post System is quick, easy, and adaptable. Not only does it offer a vibration-free experience, significantly reducing the risk of on-site accidents, but it also facilitates seamless on-the-spot adjustments, minimising disruptions and delays.
Shore Hire’s King Post System is suitable for the majority of retention applications, including embankment and slope retention, flood defence walls, single-sided retaining walls, and basement excavations where it is not possible to drive sheet piles or when the working area must be clear.
